This book was very hot, as I expect, and love, from this author. But it didn’t really explore the characters as well as I wanted. Don didn’t have to push very hard at all to get Matt to try things out. And yet, Matt is constantly contradicting himself. He knows that he enjoys bottoming, and yet argues with Blaze that he isn’t a bottom. He craves being with someone stronger than himself, but repeatedly has issues with his masculinity for being submissive. I’d love to have more insight into Matt’s emotions and the evolution of his thoughts, rather than it just magically happening because of Blaze’s magic demon dick. This was a wonderful start to a new series. I loved how the author gave voice to the mental and emotional struggles that Matt was going through. His acceptance of what he was and what he not only wanted but needed made this book so much more enjoyable for me. I definitely can't wait for the next book. ...so glad that I have this author a chance.
